Cancellation Policy

Learn about our cancellation process and how it affects your bookings.

1. Within the Listing Process

  • Customized by Host: Hosts are encouraged to provide detailed cancellation policies for each Listing at the time of listing. These policies may include refundable and non-refundable booking windows, penalties, or grace periods.
  • Guest Agreement: By completing a booking, Guests agree to the specific cancellation terms set by the Host for that Listing.

2. Cancellation Procedure

  • Initiating Cancellations: To cancel a booking, Guests must follow the instructions provided in the Listing or within their RecoupMyRent account.
  • Host Responsibility: The Host is solely responsible for providing clear instructions and for executing cancellations and any applicable refunds.

3. RecoupMyRent's Liability

RecoupMyRent is not liable for any losses, damages, or claims arising from cancellations or failed bookings. Any financial disputes related to cancellation are strictly between the Host and Guest.

4. Changes to Cancellation Policy

Hosts can modify their cancellation policy at any time before a Guest books. Material changes to a policy after a booking may not apply to existing reservations unless agreed upon by both parties.
